Baby on the Way

Only a couple weeks after my first maternity session, I had the opportunity to photograph another expectant mommy (who just happens to be one of my good friends) and daddy.  We had planned to do alot of outdoor shots in their beautiful neighborhood that has lots of community park like areas......however, mother nature has decided to downpour all the water we've been missing the past year or two during the drought, in a few short days.  Saturday was one of those days.  So, we did some on their front stoop and in their nursery.  However, the nursery shots turned out REALLY well......they have this beautiful bay window that was a great source of natural light which gave us some great pictures.  Here's a few from the session that I loved:

Maternity Session

This weekend, I shot my first maternity session for a friend who is expecting in a few weeks....actually right around my due date from a year ago.....  But I digress.  We went to a park near her home & also took some shots in the nursery.  I tried using some of my baby's blocks as a prop to spell out the baby's name - his name will be Cristian (with an accent over the a, but I don't know how to do that on blogger!).  It's a Brazilian name, since she is originally from Brazil.  I was really pleased with how they turned out & it was REALLY hard to narrow it down to my favorites to put on the blog.  So, here are the ones I selected as some of my favorites from the shoot.
